Colorado College's Karjian Earns SCAC Men's Soccer Elite 19 Honor

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- In an announcement made this evening at the conference soccer tournament, Colorado College's Rex Karjian was named the 2025 SCAC Men’s Soccer Elite 19 award winner.

Karjian, a senior defender from Seattle, Washington, currently holds a cumulative GPA of 3.857 majoring in Political Science and is first-team All-SCAC senior defender and the league's Defensive Player-of-the-Year. He is the second CC men's soccer student-athlete to earn the conference's highest award, following former teammate Charlie Wagner in 2023.

Additionally, Karjian's selection marks the 35th time a Colorado College student-athlete has earned the prestigious Elite 19 award, the most of any conference member.

Established prior to the 2018-19 academic year and meant to recognize the best of the best within each conference sponsored-sport as it relates to both academic and athletic achievement, the SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has completed the equivalent of at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA. The student-athlete must also have earned All-SCAC First or Second Team honors in his/her sport for that particular season.
