Men's Basketball - Week 8
The calendar has turned to 2026 and the SCAC Men’s Basketball conference schedule is in full swing. LeTourneau (7-3, 2-0), Dallas (6-5, 2-0), St. Thomas (10-1, 2-0), Schreiner (5-6, 2-0) and Concordia (8-2, 1-0) all sit unbeaten in SCAC action. A full week of SCAC games are scheduled for the weekend, highlighted by six contests Friday, one on Saturday and five more on Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Joey Ramirez, Concordia University (TX)
Joey Ramirez of Concordia University (TX), a senior guard from Weimar, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Sunday, December 28 through Sunday, January 4. Full Release 

Defensive Player of the Week - Logan Brinkoeter, LeTourneau University
Logan Brinkoeter of LeTourneau University, a junior forward from Georgetown, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Sunday, December 28 through Sunday, January 4. Full Release   


Women's Basketball - Week 8
History was made over the Holiday Break as Hendrix’s Riley Brady broke the SCAC single game rebounding record, grabbing 31 board in the Warriors, 75-73, win over Ozarks to improve to 2-0 in league play. Her 31 rebounds broke the previous mark of 29 by former Hendrix Warrior, Jamie Tate, who set the mark in 2012. Austin College (5-5, 2-0), McMurry (8-2, 2-0), Colorado College (7-4, 2-0) and Texas Lutheran (6-4, 1-0) all join the Warriors as unbeaten teams heading into the first full weekend of league action. Brooklyn Matthews of Austin College, a senior forward from Conroe, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Sunday, December 28 through Sunday, January 4. Full Release  

Defensive Player of the Week - Riley Brady, Hendrix College
Riley Brady of Hendrix College, a junior forward from Little Rock, Ark., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Sunday, December 28 through Sunday, January 4. It marks the second-straight week she has been honored with the award. Full Release
