LeTourneau's Dugan Earns SCAC Men's Cross Country Elite 19 Award

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- In an announcement made at Saturday's championship meet, LeTourneau University's David Dugan was named the recipient of the 2025 SCAC Men's Cross Country Elite 19 award.

The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded annually to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season.

Dugan, a senior from Lake Oswego, Ore., who is a Mechanical Engineering major, currently holds a 4.000 GPA and finished 10th at this year's SCAC Cross Country Championship meet - earning all-SCAC honors in his inaugural year running in the conference. His time of 25:46.74 was the fastest time for a Yellowjacket in a conference championship race since 2021, and also his second-best career time in the 8k. The all-SCAC honor was the fourth All-Conference award of Dugan's career - having earned all-ASC honors in his previous three seasons prior to the program joining the SCAC this year.

Dugan is the first student-athlete from LeTourneau to earn an SCAC Elite 19 award.
