After finishing the first day of competition with a 34-point lead, the Rocky Mountain Tigers have accumulated 359 total points and lead at the halfway point of this year's championship. University of St. Thomas remains in second with 208 points while Asbury University rounds out the top three with 168 points.

Leading a pack of three Tigers who finished 1-2-3, senior Edmund Davis of Colorado College took home top honors in the 500-yard freestyle after he touched the wall in 4:32.76, earning his second career title in the event (he won as a freshman in 2023) and fourth overall individual gold. The winning time marked the second-fastest performance in the history of the event as Davis had finished second in the 500 free the prior two championships. Teammates Lucio Bollettieri (4:40.85) and Mark Lofye (4:42.02) rounded out the all-conference contingent from CC - marking just the second time that teammates from the same school have swept all-conference honors in the event. Trinity accomplished the feat at the 2011 championships. 500-Yard Freestyle Interview

Allen becomes the fourth different CC swimmer to win the event and his victory marks the seventh win for the Tiger program in the last 10 years (Eric Dallesasse won the event in 2017, 2019 and 2020, Collin Ralston won in 2023 and 2024, and current teammate Andrew Colgan took top honors last year). The individual title is the second for Allen, who wont he 200 back at last year's championship. Bonow's mak also established a NCAA 'B' cut - the first one achieved at this year's meet. Colorado College's Liam McCarthy, who took top honors in the event last year as a freshman, finished in second with a time of 20.56 (the 11th-fastest time in SCAC championship meet history). CC's Andrew Colgan was third in 21.04. 50-Yard Freestyle Interview
