ABILENE, Texas – No. 1 Texas Lutheran and No. 5 Ozarks will square off in tomorrow’s SCAC Softball Tournament Championship game, as the Bulldogs make their 12th-straight appearance, the Eagles will be making their program debut on the grandest of stages at the conference level. The two teams took different paths to the title game as TLU came out of the winner’s bracket, while Ozarks became just the third team in league history to win three elimination contests in the same day and advance out of the elimination bracket to earn a shot at the title.
Tomorrow’s championship bout with be the second meeting between the two teams at this year’s tournament with TLU securing a 6-1 win over Ozarks in yesterday’s second round contest.
