RILEY BRADY OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a junior middle blocker from Little Rock, Ark., has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Tuesday, October 21st through Sunday, October 26th. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 9)

Brady totaled 42 kills over the weekend including 25 in a 3-1 win over Texas Lutheran. Brady averaged 3.50 kills per set with a .402 hitting percentage, eight service aces and 13 digs. Her hitting percentage was the highest in the league over the weekend after an impressive .706 in her 25-kill performance against the Bulldogs with just one error. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior outside hitter Selah Coleman of Austin College posted 38 kills over a 3-0 weekend for the 'Roos, averaging 3.17 kills per set. Coleman had 10 or more kills in each match with a high of 15 in a 3-1 win against Texas Lutheran. She also added 33 digs. Senior outside hitter Carolyn Dormandy of Colorado College led the team with 31 kills as the Tigers swept three matches over the weekend. Dormandy had a weekend-high 16 kills against LeTourneau and averaged 3.44 kills per set with 16 digs. Senior outside hitter Aubree McCann of LeTourneau recorded 27 kills over the weekend with 16 in a five-set loss to McMurry. McCann also added 10 digs against the War Hawks and a pair of service aces. First-year outside hitter Madi Polasek of McMurry posted 30 kills over a 3-0 weekend for the Warhawks including 13 in a five-set win over LeTourneau. Polasek also added nine digs and three blocks. First-year outside hitter Brooke Humphrey of Ozarks (Ark.) totaled 31 kills for a 3.10 kills per set average with 15 against McMurry. Humphrey posted 15 kills and 10 digs in a four-set loss to the War Hawks. Junior outside hitter Giana Hilliard of Schreiner recorded 38 kills over four matches with 33 coming in conference play as the Mountaineers were 2-1 in league action. Hilliard posted 15 kills in a five-set win over Hendrix with 19 digs. Junior outside hitter Alexis Bodunrin of St. Thomas (Tex.) led the Celts with 46 kills, 40 of those coming in SCAC contests. Her best performance was 17 kills in a sweep of LeTourneau as she averaged 3.83 kills per set with a .386 hitting percentage in conference play, two service aces and 23 digs. Senior outside hitter Ryann Ely of Texas Lutheran was consistent for the Bulldogs with 33 kills over three matches with a weekend-best of 12 in a sweep of Dallas. Ely added 35 digs averaging 3.18 digs per set and 3.00 kills per set.
