Cotham put together a string of strong performances in the Warriors' first two meets of the season. Against Division I competition at the All-Arkansas Invite, Cotham recorded two top-10 finishes, finishing sixth in the 500-yard Free and eighth in the 100-yard Backstroke while leading the 200-yard Freestyle Relay team to a top-four finish. Against Rhodes, the sophomore finished second in the 1000-yard Free (10:23.49) and the 500-yard Free (5:03.03).
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Nathan Jennings of University of the Ozarks (Ark.) won first-place in the 1000 free (12:04.51) and first-place in the 100 back (1:04.53) at the Austin College Dual on Saturday. First-year Levi Del Angel of St. Thomas (Tex.) made waves at the Southwestern Invite with an impressive win in the 100 Fly, touching the wall in 54.41 seconds. He also delivered a strong performance in the 200 Free, showcasing his speed and versatility, and establishing himself as a key contributor to the Celts' efforts at the meet.
