Camille Sherrill, Colorado College, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 4)

CAMILLE SHERRILL OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior outside hitter from Missoula, Mont., has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Tuesday, September 16th through Sunday, September 21st. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 4)

Sherrill led the Tigers with 33 kills, averaging 4.71 per set, as CC won their first two SCAC matches on the road last weekend. She had 17 kills and seven digs in a 3-0 win over TLU, then 16 kills, eight digs and two aces in a 3-1 victory over Concordia (Tex.).

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:

Senior right side hitter Samantha Graham of Austin College totaled 16 kills over the opening weekend of SCAC play with 10 against Hendrix. Graham averaged 2.29 kills per set with a .350 attack percentage. Sophomore outside hitter Brooklynne Fitzgerald of Concordia (Tex.) averaged 4.45 kills per set over three matches, recording double-doubles in all three matches with 49 total kills. In conference play, she averaged 4.50 kills per set with a season-high of 23 kills against Colorado College. Junior middle blocker Riley Brady of Hendrix led the Warriors offensively in their weekend sweep of Austin College and Dallas, totaling 25 kills with a .451 attack percentage. Brady tallied 16 kills against Austin and averaged 3.13 per set over the weekend. Junior middle blocker Nora Lockhart of LeTourneau averaged 2.17 kills with an .813 hitting percentage and 0.50 blocks per set as LeTourneau swept two matches on the week. The middle did not record an attack error in 16 attempts over two matches. She had six kills (.750 hitting percentage) with two blocks in a sweep of LaGrange. In a 3-0 win over Belhaven, Lockhart had seven kills on eight attempts (.875 percentage) with one block and one assist. Senior outside hitter Shaely Rogers of McMurry totaled 10 kills in the conference opener against Schreiner. Rogers also added seven digs and a pair of blocks. First-year outside hitter Arianna Gomez of University of the Ozarks had 25 kills over three matches while helping the Eagles to the program's first conference win. Gomez had a double-double against Lyon with ten kills and 12 digs and posted 15 kills in conference play. Sophomore middle hitter Lauren Monaco of Schreiner posted seven kills in an SCAC opening win over McMurry, hitting .583 in the match with a pair of digs and four blocks. Junior outside hitter Alexis Bodunrin of St. Thomas (Tex.) totaled 27 kills over opening weekend of conference play as the Celts went 2-0. She posted a weekend high of 16 kills against Texas Lutheran while adding 25 digs over the weekend and two blocks. Senior outside hitter Maselina Tuufuli of Texas Lutheran had a season-high 12 kills against St. Thomas (Tex.) posting 18 kills over the opening weekend of SCAC play. She also added a pair of blocks against the Celts.
