BRONWYN ADAMS OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore from Burleson, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 9 through Sunday, March 15. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 3
Adams won the women's hammer with a 40.62m throw and placed third in the women's discus with a 39.28m throw. She also finished seventh in the shot put with a 11.10m throw.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Gabrielle Malagarie of Centenary continued the impressive start to her season on Saturday in the Ouachita Invitational hosted Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. She finished third in the high jump (1.45m) and eighth in the long jump (4.62m).
