ALISON MUELLER-HICKLER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Katy, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets conducted from Friday, October 3 through Saturday, October 4. It is the second conscutive week she has earned the honor. SCAC Cross Country Release (Week 6)
Mueller-Hickler led the 21st-ranked Colorado College women's cross country team to a 10th-place finish in the ‘White’ 6K race at the 51st annual Paul Short Run Friday morning in Bethlehem, Pa. Mueller-Hickler finished 12th individually out of 418 Division III runners with a personal-best time of 21:23.5.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Averi Garrity of Dallas led the Crusaders to a second-place team finish at the OLLU Invitational last Saturday. Garrity finished just outside the top-10 in 11th, crossing line of the 6K course in 25:01.3. Senior Alayna Galloway of LeTourneau paced the YellowJackets to second place team finish at the Belhaven Invitational last Saturday. Galloway finished 21st out of 71 competitors, crossing the link of the 6K course in 25:52.9.
