ANDIE WILL OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior guard from Arlington Heights, Ill., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, December 8 through Sunday, December 14. SCAC Women's Basketball Release (Week 6)

Will led the Tigers to an impressive 65-41 win over St. Thomas in the SCAC opener. The senior scored a season-high 15 points, grabbed a season-high eight rebounds, and added two steals. She shot 66.7 percent from the floor, including 50 percent (2-4) from three-point range. Will also added five free throws to seal the win for the Tigers who moved to 5-3 on the year.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior guard Amiyah Barrow of Centenary averaged 6.5 points in a pair of games for the Ladies against ETBU and Howard Payne on the road. She grabbed six rebounds, hit a pair of treys, went 1-1 at the FT line and had an assist as she averaged 32.5 minutes of action. Sophomore guard Madison Martinez of Concordia produced a game and season-high 14 points in a 68-41 win over Dallas Christian. The second-year guard knocked down four threes and grabbed six rebounds in 29 minutes of action. Junior guard Mariana Espinosa of LeTourneau tallied 17 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in an 88-52 win over Biblical Studies. She went 6-of-10 from the field with three 3-pointers in the victory. Senior center Elli Garcia of Ozarks posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a win over Lyon last week. Garcia shot 7-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line while recording one steal. Garcia's effort in 25 minutes of play pushed the Eagles to their third straight win. Junior guard Macie Whitfield of St. Thomas averaged 11.5 points on 57.9 percent shooting in a 1-1 week last week for the Celts, highlighted by a non-conference win over Huston-Tillotson. Whitfield added, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5, blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.0 assists per game as well. Senior guard Lauren Sansano of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs to a key non-conference win over UMHB last week, scoring 13 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out six assists in the victory.
