Senior outfielder Tori Fowler of Austin College had an outstanding weekend for the ‘Roos, hitting safely in all three games of the team's SCAC series against Centenary. Fowler finished the weekend batting .556 (5-for-9) with a .600 on-base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage, driving in four runs and scoring twice while also stealing three bases in three attempts. Sophomore Kaitlynn Alello of Centenary, who played three different positions (C, DP, SS), led the Ladies to an SCAC series win on the road at Austin College over the weekend. She went 7-for-9 (.778) at the plate with five doubles, 12 total bases, seven runs scored, and one RBI with an .800 OBP and slugged 1.333. She had multiple hits in every game of the series - a three-hit game and a pair of two-hit performances. Senior outfielder Jenna Carter of LeTourneau batted .500 (7-for-14) with three doubles, one triple, and five RBI in a 2-2 week for LeTourneau. In a doubleheader sweep of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Carter went 5-for-8 with two doubles, one triple, and five RBI, highlighted by a 4-for-5 performance with three RBI in game two, including a walk-off two-run double. She went 2-for-6 with a double in two losses at No. 6 East Texas Baptist. First-year Sophia Garza of McMurry was outstanding at the plate last week for the War Hawks, batting .714 (5-for-7) with four RBI, one home run and three doubles. She posted an impressive 1.571 slugging percentage and drew one walk for a .750 on-base percentage. Sophomore catcher Isabella Hulsey of Ozarks hit safely in six of the Eagles seven games last week to post a .368 batting average. Hulsey finished the week with five RBI to increase her season total to 24. She also had three doubles and finished with seven hits for the week. Sophomore third baseman Ciaira Gonzalez of St. Thomas hit .500 at the plate last week, going 4-for-8 with two doubles, four runs scored, two RBI and one walk to post a .556 on-base percentage. Gonzalez slugged .750 in helping lift the Celts to a series sweep of Ozarks at home. Senior second baseman Caelee Clark of Texas Lutheran was the catalyst at the top of the lineup once again for the Bulldogs in a weekend sweep over SCAC foe Schreiner. Clark hit .800 (8-for-10) with 10 runs scored and seven stolen bases to go along with three RBI. Clark now leads the SCAC in both runs scored (46) and stolen bases (54) .
