WACO, Texas – Top-seeded Trinity University advanced to its 33rd-straight final after securing a 4-0 win over fourth-seeded Concordia (Texas) on Saturday afternoon in semifinal action at the SCAC Men’s Tennis Championship from the Waco Tennis & Fitness Center. The Tigers held a 1-0 lead going into singles action after Aashish Dhanani/Eric Liao posted a 6-3 win at second doubles and Jared Perry/Conor Kaczmarczyk recorded a 6-3 win at third doubles.
Liao went on to secure points in singles at the fifth line with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Roshin Kamath tallied a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles. Clinching the match was Kishan Kersten who recorded a 6-3, 6-2 win at fourth singles.
The Tigers improved to 15-10 on the season, while Concordia (Texas) falls to 10-8 this season.
