CAELEE CLARK OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY a senior second baseman from Montgomery, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 22. SCAC Softball Release - Week 7

Clark became the NCAA's all-time leader in career stolen bases on Thursday as part of her 12 stolen base week. Clark passed Georgia's Nicole Barber's previous record of 257 as Clark has pushed the record for all levels to 264 and counting as she leads Division-III with 47 stolen bases so far this season. Clark was a constant threat for the Bulldogs this week - leading the Bulldogs to a 5-1 week in the TLU Invitational including a win over No. 17 Tufts. Her consistency at the top of the lineup was evident, posting a .533 batting average (8-for-15), scoring 11 runs and producing one RBI. In addition to her eight hits, Clark walked eight times to post an impressive .696 on-base percentage in addition to her 12 stolen bases.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior third baseman Morgan Dawson of Centenary was red-hot for the Ladies in their sweep over Dallas at home as she finished .538 (7-of-13) at the plate with four RBI. Dawson ripped two doubles, scored four runs, walked once, and stole one base. She had nine total bases and finished with a .571 OBP and slugged .692. She also finished with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at the hot corner with zero errors in 21 total chances with 18 assists and three putouts. Senior catcher Molly Olivarez of Concordia (Tex.) led the Tornados at the plate during a 4-1 week, including a conference sweep of Austin College. She hit .538 (7-for-13) with a team-high seven RBI, posting a .611 on-base percentage and .692 slugging percentage. Olivarez delivered timely hits throughout the week, playing a key role in Concordia’s 30-run output and consistent offensive success in the five games. Senior second baseman Rylie Shipp of LeTourneau batted .444 (8-for-18) with six RBI, four runs scored, one double, and one steal in a 3-2 week for the YellowJackets. She went 3-for-8 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored in a sweep of Howard Payne. Shipp then went 5-for-10 with three runs scored and four RBI in a three-game series against Ozarks. Sophomore infielder Angelina Kulbeth of McMurry led the way at the plate for the War Hawks, batting .500 (6-for-12) over a 2-2 week, highlighted by an SCAC series win at Hendrix. Kulbeth finished the week with three RBI, two runs scored, one walk, a .538 on-base percentage and a .500 slugging percentage Junior outfielder Emma Reynolds of Ozarks hit .400 and drove in four runs with three doubles, including the game-winning hit in game one, to push the Eagles to a series win against LeTourneau. Reynolds opened the series with a clutch game-winning RBI double with two outs in the top the seventh. She followed that performance with two hits and two RBI in game two. For the series, Reynolds was perfect in the field and also scored three runs. Sophomore outfielder Savana Henken of St. Thomas hit .438 on the week, going 7-for-16 at the plate with five runs scored, two RBI and one double in leading the Celts to a 3-2 week, highlighted by a conference sweep on the road against Schreiner. She finished the week with a .471 on-base percentage and a .500 slugging percentage.
