Albrecht was lights out in her collegiate debut, leading the Tornados' to the 7-0 victory over Texas Lutheran in the conference opener for both teams. Albrecht shined in straight sets with a 6-0, 6-0 win at flight six.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Caroline Lasley of Hendrix helped clinch the singles round for the Warriors with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 2 spot versus John Brown's Ana Moreno. Sophomore Maya Jackson of Schreiner led the Mountaineers to a 1-1 week, helping secure the team's 5-2 victory over Howard Payne with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over her opponent at the No. 4 line.
