Sophomore infielder Reagan Brinkley of Austin College had a huge weekend at the dish as the 'Roos took two of three from Dallas, ending each of the first two games via the run rule with walk-off triples in both contests. Brinkley finished the weekend batting .600 with a .583 on-base percentage and a 1.100 slugging percentage, driving in eight runs while scoring a pair and collecting two triples and a double. Senior 2B/SS Catherine Stokes of Centenary was hot at the plate for the Ladies in their four games over the weekend at the Belhaven University Tournament. She hit 5-for-12 (.417) with a .462 OBP and slugged .500 against host Belhaven and Hardin-Simmons. Stokes scored four runs and had an RBI, a double, and walked once. She did not strike out in 12 at-bats in the four games. Junior first baseman Kylie Kirk of Concordia led the Tornados to an SCAC series win over Schreiner on the road. Kirk batted .400 (4-for-10) with one home run and one double, driving home six and scoring five runs. She stole one base and walked twice to post a .500 on-base percentage and finished the weekend with a .800 slugging percentage. First-year outfielder Aliyah Valdez of Dallas posted a .455 batting average (5-for-11) with two RBI, two runs scored, one double and one stolen base in the Crusaders weekend series against Austin College. First-year infielder Emerson Naismith of Hendrix went 4-for-9 at the plate in the Warriors’ weekend series against Ozarks, highlighted by a season-high three hits in game two, going 3-for-4 with an RBI double. Senior infielder Rylie Shipp of LeTourneau batted .545 (6-for-11) with three RBI, three runs scored, and one double in a series at McMurry. Shipp had at least one hit in all three games, going 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in a game-one loss. In a game-two win, Shipp went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. She then went 1-for-5 with a run scored in a game-three loss. Sophomore catcher Isabella Hulsey of Ozarks led the Eagles to a 5-1 record last week, including an SCAC series sweep against Hendrix at home. Hulsey batted .563, going 9-for-16 with two home runs, one double and six RBI. Hulsey scored nine runs, walked three times, stole one base and posted a .632 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage. Senior catcher Chloe Bennett of St. Thomas had an outstanding weekend at the plate in the Celts weekend series against TLU. Bennett hit .455 (5-for-11) with a pair of doubles, one home run and four RBI. She scored three runs, drew one walk, posted an on-base percentage of .500 and slugged .909 on the weekend .
