LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – All seven of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis squads hit the court in week seven of the season. 

No. 17 Trinity (9-8) did not drop a set last week, earning victories over Concordia (Tex.), 9-0, and Austin College, 5-0. The Tigers set the tone early in the doubles competition for both contests, sweeping the competition in each. Against the Roos', No. 2 singles Wilson Lambeth and No. 4 Cameron Krimbill earned 6-3, 6-2 and 6-1, 2-1 victories, respectively, to secure the win for the Tigers. In the match against Concordia, the Tigers managed straight-set victories in all six singles matches. 

Despite its loss to Trinity, Austin College (4-6) picked up a 7-2 victory over McMurry on Friday. No. 2 doubles Brett O'Brien/Josh Granberry made quick work of Connor Hogan/Zach Miller, defeating them 8-1, and No. 3 Calum Robe/Andrew Padilla took care of Chris Causer/Joseph Diaz, 8-5. In singles, No. 2 O'Brien, No. 3 Padilla, No. 4 Robe and No. 5 Kenneth Hardy each earned straight-set victories while No. 6 Siddharth Kortikere came back from an early deficit to capture the 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (7) win.

Colorado College (4-5) split its matches last week, defeating St. Lawrence, 7-2, and Hamline, 6-3, on Monday but falling to Hamilton and Grinnell to finish out the week. No. 3 singles Jacob Adas played to a 3-1 record, with his only loss of the week coming at the hands of Grinnell. No. 1 Noah Foreman defeated Bowen Mince to earn the lone point for the Tigers against Grinnell to end the week 2-2. No. 5 Alex Kley and No. 6 Alex Wimer also went 2-2 last week with victories over opponents from St. Lawrence and Hamline. In doubles, No. 1 pair Formean/Daniel Holland and No. 3 Kley/Wimer each earned 2-2 records with wins over St. Lawrence and Hamline. 

Centenary (1-7) bounced back from its loss to Concordia (Tex.) on Friday to defeat Louisiana College the next day, earning its first win of the season. The Gents came out strong in the win over the Wildcats, earning two points in the doubles-competition as No. 2 duo Kevin Le/Pius Lau and No. 3 pair Divine Martin/Tobias Thorkelsen took 8-2 victories, each. No. 2 Singles Max Wamsley, No. 3 Nathan Lim and No. 5 Miguel Vasquez downed opponents in straight-sets while No. 6 Martin battled back from a 0-1 deficit to take the match 6-7, 6-2, 10-5. 

Texas Lutheran (4-4) went 1-3 over the weekend, taking an 8-1 victory over Howard Payne but falling to McMurry and LeTourneau. No. 2 doubles pair Jared Mason/Mario Martinez went 2-0 with wins over opponents from McMurry and LeTourneau, while No. 2 Nick Roccaforte/Eric Wendt and No. 3 Joshua Bowman/Josh Flores each earned a victory in the win over Howard Payne. In singles, Johari Dramiga went a perfect 4-0 last week in the No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 positions.

In its lone match of the week, No. 40 Southwestern (9-3) dropped a 6-3 decision to No. 34 Redlands. No. 1 singles Alexis Dimanche, No. 2 Hunter Bajoit and No. 3 Alexander Joseph picked up points in the loss. 

Schreiner (4-6) fell to East Texas Baptist, 7-1, on Friday in its only match of the week. In the match, Joshua Newman and Matthew Jimenez were the only players to score, both earning singles victories in the No. 2 and 4 positions, respectively, and as the No. 2 doubles pair where they defeated Joseph Salinas/Ty Tarver 8-3.

The SCAC men's tennis schedule continues this week, highlighted by a national top-40 matchup as No. 17 Trinity hosts No. 40 Southwestern.
