  • Trinity seniors Molly McCullough and Mia Loseff both joined the rare four-time event winners club. McCullough became the first women in SCAC history to win the 3,000 meter steeplechase (12:17.90) four times and Loseff four-peated in the pole vault - shattering SCAC meet record in the process with a clearing height of 12' 2 3/4. She is the first SCAC student-athlete to clear 12 feet in conference championship meet competition.
  • McCullough and Losef became the ninth and 10th female student-athletes in the 28-year history of the conference championship meet to win an event four consecutive years.
  • Texas Lutheran student-athletes claimed three individual titles in first day action. Dejah Carr repeated as the winner of the hammer throw (147' 5"), Cortnee Priour took top honors in the triple jump (38' 9") - tying the longest leap in SCAC championship meet history and Tia Hart won the final event of the day - the javelin (134' 5") - the third-longest toss in SCAC championship meet history.
  • Allyssa Warling of Colorado College took top honors in the 10,000 meters (38:57.99).


  • Competition resumes tomorrow with the women's 5000-meter final at 8:00 a.m., followed by the men's event at 8:30 a.m. Field events begin at 9 a.m., with the women's shot put and women's high jump as well as finals in the men's long jump and men's discuss.
