BEN LAUSE OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a 5-8, 170-pound sophomore right-hander from Mason, Ohio, has been selected the SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28.
 
Lause tossed seven innings in a 5-0 win against Rhodes while allowing just one hit, two walks, and zero runs while striking out 13. He allowed just five base runners in his seven innings on the mound. He tallied a 0.43 WHIP (walks plus hits/innings pitched).

For the season, Lause is 2-1 with a 6.00 earned run average in five appearances (all starts) with 21 strike outs in 24 innings of work.
