BEN KLIMESH OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a 6-4, 205-pound sophomore right-hander from Wilmette, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 8 through Sunday, February 14.
 
Klimesh tossed a six-hit shutout to against Mary Hardin-Baylor open Trinity's week, sparking the team to a solid weekend of play that also included a three-game SCAC weekend sweep.

Klimesh earned the shutout win in his first start of the season, striking out nine batters. He didn't allow a hit in the final three innings, and only allowed two runners to reach third in the game.

For the season, Klimesh holds a 2.38 ERA and has struck out 11 batters in his 11.1 innings of work.  Opponents are hitting just .262 against him this season, and he has allowed three runs on 11 hits in those 11.1 innings.
