TOWSON, Md. - Centre College senior defender Kate Anderson and Trinity University junior midfielder Alex Leamy were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women's Soccer Team, announced the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

SUWANEE, Ga. – For the first time in league history, three players will share one of the conference’s major postseason awards. In exclusive balloting by the head coaches of the conference, Diana Buss of Rhodes College, Evey Gannaway of Sewanee-University of the South and Allison Terry of Centre split the vote to share 2008 SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Year. Katy Joyner of Rhodes was voted the league’s Defensive Player-of-the-Year.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - After playing 110 minutes of scoreless soccer in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Championship Tournament, Rhodes lost to the Titans of Illinois Wesleyan University in a penalty kick shootout, 4-3, on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday.
