ATLANTA, Ga. - Oglethorpe University sophomore pitcher Daniel Sarisky was selected today by Major League Baseball's Houston Astros in the 40th Round of the 2009 MLB draft.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Trinity University Tigers senior pitcher Evan Bronson of Midlothian, Va. (The Collegiate School), was drafted by the Washington Nationals Wednesday in the Major League Baseball Draft.
APPLETON, Wisc. - Millsaps College senior shortstop Billy Murphy and Oglethorpe University sophomore thirdbaseman J.J. Rizzo were named 2009 South Region Rawlings Gold Glove award winners. They were the only Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference selections to the regional gold glove teams.
