WADE WELDON OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a junior guard from Lilburn, Ga., has been named SCAC Basketball Co Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, December 15 through Sunday, December 21.
Weldon helped pace Oglethorpe to two wins on the week by averaging 18 points per game, 3.5 rebounds a game, 3 assists per game and shot 63.6 percent (14-22) from the floor, including 55.6 percent (5-9) from beyond the arc.
