Cleveland, a native of Springtown, Texas, put together an outstanding sophomore campaign. At the SCAC Championships in April, Cleveland secured four individual All-SCAC honors, including gold medal performances in the 200-meters and long jump. In the 200-meters, Cleveland set a new SCAC meet record in prelims (20.87) before breaking the tape in the finals with a time of 20.91. He is the first champion in SCAC history to break 21 seconds in the 200 and he is the fourth athlete in league history to win back-to-back titles in the 200-meter dash. In the long jump, Cleveland took to the top of the podium after a leap of 7.08m. Additionally, Cleveland earned second-place in both the 100-meters (10.48) and the 110-meter hurdles (14.76) en route to being named SCAC Male Athlete-of-the-Meet for the second consecutive year. Cleveland is the sixth athlete in SCAC T&F history to earn Athlete-of-the-Meet in consecutive championships. On the national stage, Cleveland finished 21st in the 200-meters at the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championships, crossing the line in 21.93.

Cleveland is the first athlete in McMurry program history to earn SCAC Track Athlete-of-the-year honors.

Cabra, a native from Schertz, Texas had a banner year, culminating in a 15th-place finish (2.03m) in the high jump to earn Second Team All-American honors at last month's National Championship. At the SCAC Championships, Cabra finally broke through to earn his first career individual conference title after coming into the 2026 championship with three runner-up finishes in his career. Cabra posted the second highest leap in SCAC Meet history, winning the high jump with a mark of 2.09m.

A two-time SCAC Track Athlete of the Week honoree during the 2026 season, Cabra is the fourth TLU Bulldogs to secure SCAC Field Athlete-of-the-Year honors. He joins former Bulldog standouts Alejandro Briseno (2016), Garrett Garza (2019) and Gerrit Twitero (2023).

Grimaldo emerged as a force in the conference in his rookie campaign, earning a trio of All-SCAC honors and lifting UST to its fourth top five finish in the last five years at the SCAC Championships. Individually, the Dickson, Texas native captured gold in the 400-meters, breaking the tape in 54.66 and took home third in both the 110-meter hurdles (14.84) and the high jump (1.95m). He is the first Celt in program history to earn All-SCAC honors in both the 400-meter dash and the 110-meter hurdles.

Grimaldo is the first athlete in St. Thomas program history to earn SCAC First-Year Athlete-of-the-Year.
