LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference will crown champions in the sports of men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball this weekend. Conference tournaments in all three sports begin on Friday with the SCAC champions in each sport receiving an automatic bid to NCAA postseason play.

Trinity University repeated as Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference football champions thanks to a 35-24 win over visiting
Millsaps College. The Tigers become the first team to win
back-to-back SCAC titles since DePauw University did so in 2009
& 2010.

MEN'S SOCCER
Centenary College sprang perhaps the win of the year in the SCAC,
as the Gents upset No. 22 Colorado College on Friday. Centenary
earned a 1-0 win and then earned its second SCAC win by beating
Dallas 2-0 on Sunday.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
The 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer
tournament field is set as teams competed in the last regular
season conference weekend of the year.

VOLLEYBALL
The field is set for the 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference volleyball tournament. Colorado College will serve as
host for the annual postseason championship event and the event
will run Friday & Saturday, November 2-3.
