LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Just two weeks remain in the regular season as men's and women's teams jockey for position and seeding for the 2013 SCAC Men's and Women's Basketball tournaments in Sherman, Texas later this month.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Trinity University maintained its one game lead on second place Colorado College thanks to a perfect 2-0 weekend sweep of SCAC action. The Texas Tigers beat Austin College, 80-67 before finishing the sweep with an 85-76 win over Centenary.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The University of Dallas was nearly perfect in its 75-67 overtime victory at Colorado College on Friday. The Crusaders shot a sizzling 97 percent (32 of 33) from the free throw line. It marked the second best single-game team free throw percentage (minimum 20 made) in SCAC history.

BASEBALL
No. 11 Trinity University opened up its 2013 season in dominating fashion as the Tigers took two of three from Chapman (Calif.) University. Senior lefty Ryan Lucero, who missed much of last season with an injury, took a no-hitter into the eighth and struck out 10 in Trinity's 7-1 season opening win.
