Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year goalkeeper Kieran McFarland of Austin College came up huge in a 3-1 win over LeTourneau, holding the Jackets scoreless in the game's first 88 minutes as the 'Roos built a 3-0 lead. McFarland made five saves as Austin College secured a spot in the SCAC Tournament for the first time since 2020-21. Junior goalkeeper Avery Anders of McMurry helped the War Hawks post their ninth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Schreiner to close out the regular season and claim the No. 2 seed going into the SCAC Tournament this week. Anders collected two saves to finish the regular season with 45 saves, eighth most in the regular season in the conference.
