Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Annabelle Lanik of Trinity jumped a new personal best in the long jump at the TLU D3 challenge with a winning leap of 5.78 meters. That effort leads the conference and is fourth in the country. Sophomore Tori Coleman of McMurry won the hammer throw with a toss of 42.51 meters (139' 6") at the TLU D3 Challenge, which was a personal best. She also finished second in the shot put with a distance of 11.79 meters (38' 8 1/4") and second in the discuss throw with a mark of 40.36 meters (132' 5") which ranks eighth in the country. Sophomore Kimora Roberson of Concordia (Texas) established a new PR in the shot put by .30 meters at the TLU D3 Challenge with a toss of 9.74 meters. She also showed well in the discus with a throw of 28.77 meters. First-year Grayson Shugart of Centenary had an impressive performance at the Belhaven University Invitational on Saturday as she finished 10th in the women's long jump (4.61 meters) and sixth in the triple jump (9.66 meters).
