HANNAH COLEY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Austin, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Women's Basketball Co-Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, January 27th through Sunday, February 2nd.
Coley led Trinity to a pair of SCAC wins over the weekend, finishing off the team's regular season home schedule by beating Dallas and Colorado College.
Coley averaged 18.5 points/game and 5.5 assists/game to lead the team in both wins, hitting just over 65% of her shots and close to 55% three-point field goals. She converted 15-23 (65.2%) from the field and 6-11 (54.5%) from distance. Coley also tied for the team lead with five steals over the weekend, and committed just one turnover.
Against Dallas, Coley led the team with 24 points on 9-12 shooting, hitting 5-7 threes, and handing out six assists. With that performance, she became the 14th player in school history to score 1,000 points in a career. Coley followed that up with 13 points, five assists, and four steals in just 21 minutes against Colorado the next night.
