KELSIE JACKSON OF SCHREINER
UNIVERSITY, a sophomore guard from Corpus
Christi, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, January 13th
through Sunday, January 19th.
Jackson led Schreiner to a pair of
SCAC home victories over the weekend, defeating both Colorado Collegeand
Dallas on Friday and Saturday.
Jackson led the team with 19.5
points/game and 6.0 rebounds/game in the wins, hitting 12-22
(54.5%) from the field, and recording five total assists to lead
the Mountaineers to a 2-0 weekend.
Against Colorado
College, Jackson had 18
points on 5-of-11 shooting with five rebounds and two three
pointers in a 75-63 victory.
Jackson hit 7-of-11 from the field to
score 22 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished five assists in
a 73-65 win. The Mountaineers have now won three of their last four
games.
