ANNIE BOURNE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Dallas, Texas., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 25th through Sunday, December 1st.

Bourne averaged 18.5 points per game and 12.5 rebounds this week while posting two double-doubles in two games. 
She shot 51% from the floor (14-27) and 40% from three point range (2-5). 

Bourne had 11 points and 15 rebounds in a win over UMHB while adding two blocks and a steal in a terrific defensive effort.

The following night against Division II Southern Arkansas, Bourne scored 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting and 2-of-3 from behind the arch. She also pulled down 10 rebounds and added a steal in a two point loss.

Bourne currently leads the SCAC with 65 total rebounds and is second in the conference in rebounding average at 10.8 per game.
