EMMA HAGAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Overland Park, Kan., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 9 to Saturday, January 14. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 10)

Hagan was a part of four wins in Saturday's dual meet victory over Southwestern. Individually, Hagan was first to the wall in the 200 freestyle in 1:57.67 and the 100 butterfly in 58.52. She also swam on two winning relays, splitting 26.22 on the butterfly leg of the 200 medley relay, and 23.89 on the 200 freestyle relay. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Emma Williams of Southwestern placed second in the 50 free (25.56) and won the 100 free (54.95) in Saturday's dual meet at Trinity. Williams was also part of the second place 200 free relay and posted a split of 24.67. Sophomore Madeline Vacula of Centenary continued her impressive season for the Ladies this past weekend, claiming three individual wins at the Austin College Invitational - the third straight meet she has amassed three individual wins. Vacula won the 200 back in a season-best time of 2:19.05, as well as the 1,650 free (18:38.81), and the 200 IM (2:27.67). First-year Maddy Rohrer of McMurry had a stellar meet at the Austin College Invite, winning the 100 breast (1:12.48) and the 50 Free (25.67). She also recorded second place finishes in the 100 free (56.13) and 200 free relay (24.94 split). Junior Sammi Thiele of Austin College had three individual victories and was also part of a second place finish in the 200 free relay at the Austin College Invite, where the 'Roos hosted UT-Permian Basin, Ozarks, Centenary, and McMurry. Thiele had first place finishes in the 100 back, 200 breast, and 200 IM at the meet. First-year Chloe Weathers of University of the Ozarks placed first in the 100 IM in 1:07.78, second in the 100 backstroke in 1:05.77, and led off the winning 200 medley relay in 30.82 in Monday's dual against Hendrix. At the Austin College Invite, Weathers placed second in the 200 backstroke in 2:27.18, third in the 100 backstroke in 1:07.16, and fourth in the 200 IM in 2:32.20.
