MAGGIE PREWITT OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior guard from Mt. Sterling, Ky., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 13 through Sunday, February 19.

Centre’s all-time leader in assists and three-pointers closed out her regular season with 53 points in the Colonels’ final two games. Against Millsaps, Prewitt scored 32 points on 10-15 shooting, while also recording 10 rebounds, three assists and four steals in Centre’s conference championship clinching win over Millsaps. Against Rhodes, Prewitt posted 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

For the weekend Prewitt averaged 26.5 points on 53.3% shooting with 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and three assists per contest.
