CAROLINE KING OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a junior guard from Haleyville, Ala., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, December 5 through Sunday, December 11.

King led the Panthers for the second straight game, scoring a game-high 21 points against New Orleans on Sunday. She shot 6-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range and 5-of-6 at the free throw line. King also recorded a team-high eight rebounds and four assists, as well as a block.
