MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Centre College junior guard Maggie Prewitt was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for week nine of the 2010-11 season, the website announced. Prewitt was the only Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference player named to the team this week.
Prewitt averaged 26.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two SCAC home wins. In an 80-57 win over Austin, Prewitt scored 26 points, grabbed four rebounds and had three assists and two steals. Two days later, she scored 27 points with six rebounds, five assists and a block in an 82-74 win over Colorado College. In the two games combined, Prewitt made 18 of her 30 (60.0%) shot attempts, including 5 of 11 (45.5%) from the three-point line.
