TOWSON, Md. - Rhodes junior forward Sharwil Bell was named to the Captial One Academic All-American Team late last week.
Bell, a biology major from Memphis, TN, carries a 3.97 gpa and leads the SCAC in scoring at 19.4 points a contest. Bell was named a third team selection, and is the only player in the SCAC to earn Academic All-American status this season.
Bell was also named First Team All-Conference late last week.
