KIMBERLY POLASEK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year midfielder from Houston, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 8 through Sunday, October 14.
Polasek led the Tiger women to a pair of SCAC
shutouts over the weekend, finishing off regular season sweeps in
the series against both Austin College and Centenary.
Polasek and the Tiger defense recorded two strong
shutouts, allowing just nine total shots in the two games.
Additionally, Polasek had a goal and an assist
over the weekend – including the game-winning goal against
Austin College.
For the season, Polasek has a goal and three
assists for the Tigers, and has played in all 13 games as a
first-year. She has helped the Tigers to nine total shutouts
this year, allowing just seven total goals.
