MADISON ESCHLE
OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward
from Flower Mound, Texas has been named SCAC Women’s
Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 21
through Sunday, January 27.
Eschle led Southwestern in scoring this weekend,
averaging 16.5 points per game and was the third highest rebounder
with 5.5 boards per game.
She shot 52% from the field (9-17) and 75% from three point
range (3-4) while going a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line.
She also added in four assists and three steals as the Pirates went
2-0.
Against Colorado College on Friday, Eschle scored 19 points on 5 of 9 shooting (3 of 4 from beyond the arc) and grabbed six rebounds.
On Sunday against Dallas, Eschle scored 14 points on 4 of 8 shooting (6 of 6 from the free-throw line) and added five rebounds and two steals.
