KYLE BUCHWALDER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior defender from Yellow Springs, Ohio, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 10 through Sunday, October 16.

Buchwalder played 162 of 180 minutes during Colorado College’s victories over Austin College (2-0) and the University of Dallas (2-1). The Tigers allowed just 19 total shots, only seven of which were on frame. CC posted its fifth shutout of the season and its second in league play against the Kangaroos. The seven total shots taken by the Crusaders marked the fourth time the Tigers’ defense has held an opponent to eight or fewer shots in a game.
