FRANK PETERSEN OF OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY, a junior goalkeeper from Woodstock, Ga., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 3 through Sunday, October 9.

Petersen had an excellent weekend in net to lift Oglethorpe to two road wins. He recorded a shutout in Friday’s win over Hendrix, denying all nine shots the Warriors put on target. He let one through on Sunday against Colorado College but still tallied five huge saves in the Petrel victory, giving him 14 stops on the weekend. On the season Petersen now has 41 saves fifth best in the conference and two shutouts.
