CHRIS JACKSON OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior goalkeeper from Oxford, Ohio, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September 18.

Jackson had an outstanding weekend in the net for Centre, picking up two shutouts in two games to help the Colonels win both away matches. On Saturday against Wabash College, Jackson commanded the defense and made three saves en route to a 2-0 win and the Colonels second shutout of the season. Then on Sunday against Earlham College, Jackson again stepped up and preserved a shutout for the Colonels, going 109 minutes without giving up a goal and again making three saves along the way, helping Centre to the 1-0 win. On the season, Jackson has only given up one goal for a GAA of 0.37.
