CHASE ALLEN OF SOUTHWESTERN
UNIVERSITY, a sophomore designated hitter
from LaPorte, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 21st through
Sunday, April 27th.
Allen led Southwestern to their fourth
win in a row going in the SCAC Tournament, defeating Hardin-Simmons
in the regular season fianle, 6-5.
Allen belted his first home run of the
season, finishing 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored in the
win.
His three-run homer helped Southwestern to its 14th win of
the seasonh, quadrupling their win total from last season with the
victory.
