CHRISTIAN DeBLANC OF TEXAS LUTHERAN
UNIVERSITY, a senior outfielder from
Kingwood, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Saturday, February 1st
through Sunday, February 9th.
DeBlanc hit .500 for the weekend,
scored two runs, doubled and drove in five as the Bulldogs won all
three games over Chapman and 14th ranked Texas-Tyler to open the
2014 season.
DeBlanc also stole a pair of base and
walked twice. He posted a slugging percentage of .583 and an
on-base percentage of .571.
DeBlanc had three hits with an RBI
against Chapman. He drove in a pair of runs in each of the two wins
against Texas-Tyler.
