DANIELLE HUBENAK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, senior guard from San Antonio, Texas has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 14 through Sunday, February 20.

Hubenak led the Tigers to two wins to finish off the regular season, including a win over Southwestern that secured a spot in the SCAC Tournament.

Hubenak averaged 26.5 points 2.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game over the weekend, connecting on 16-39 (41.0%) from the field and 14-16 (87.5%) from the free throw line. She also poured in seven three-pointers in the two games, hitting 7-20 (35.0%) overall.

Against Southwestern, Hubenak scored 31 points for the second time this season to lead the team to victory. She scored nine field goals – four three-pointers – and nine free throws in the game.

For the season, Hubenak is second on the team with 16.0 points/game, and leads the Tigers with 93 total assists. She has hit 47.8% (149-312) from the field and 37.5% (57-152) from three-point range this season. Hubenak also leads the team with 58 total steals.
