BRANDON OGILVIE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior forward from Manchester Center, Vermont, has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, Septemerber 15th through Sunday, Septemeber 21st. 

Ogilvie scored all four goals as Colorado College posted 2-1 victories at Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University last weekend.

Ogilvie struck for a pair of goals in the second half as the Tigers defeated Schreiner in its first road game of the 2014 season on Friday afternoon. On Sunday at Texas Lutheran, Ogilvie scored 3:52 into overtime to give CC a 2-1 victory. Ogilvie's header off a long cross from sophomore defender Christian Wulff eluded TLU goalkeeper Jonathan Michael for the first ‘Golden Goal’ of his career.

With a pair of game winners, Ogilvie now has three this season and 12 for his career. Ogilvie, who leads the SCAC with eight goals and 17 points, has seven goals in his last three games. It also marked his third consecutive multiple-goal game and the sixth of his career. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman forward Gregg Guittierez of Schreiner helped lead the Mountaineers to a 1-1 week. He had a goal in the loss to Colorado and in the victory over Centenary. Freshman midfielder Christian Lopez of Southwestern scored what would be the game winner on an assist from David Arellano, and notched a second on a rebound before the half-time whistle. Both Lopez's goals came in the first half. Austin College, Centenary, Dallas, and Texas Lutheran did not nominate anyone.
