JONATHAN MICHAEL OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior goalkeeper from Coppell, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Players-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 27th through Sunday, November 2nd.
Michael marked his eighth shutout this weekend, which ties Theo Hooker of Colorado College for the lead in the SCAC.
Michael's six saves are the most in any of TLU's shutouts this season and is his third most in any game this season. He now has 62 saves for the season, which ranks fourth among all SCAC goalkeepers, while allowing just 15 goals for a save percentage of .805 –also fourth in the conference.
