BRIAN HINES OF
TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior forward from Tempe,
Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday, September 16
through Sunday, September 22.
Hines led the Trinity Tigers to a pair of shutout
victories in conference play over the weekend, pacing an offense
that posted 12 total goals in two games.
Hines finished with three goals in the two games,
picking up the game-winner against Texas Lutheran on Friday night.
He added a goal in each half on Sunday’s win over Schreiner,
and totaled nine shots for the weekend.
For the season, Hines is tied for second on the
team with six points, and is tied for the team lead with three
goals scored - all of which came this weekend.
