ASHLEY MYERS OF TEXAS LUTHERAN, a freshman from Edna, Texas, has been named the SCAC Track Co-Athlete of the Week for meets held Monday, March 28th through Sunday April 3rd.
Myers won the 200 meters at the Trinity Invitational in a time of 26.88 (3rd in SCAC) and was the second collegiate athlete in the 100 meters in a time of 12.78 (2nd in SCAC). She was also the anchor of the second place women's 4x100 relay at the meet (2nd in SCAC).
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Katie Groke of Trinity University took second in the 400 hurdles, and 7th in the 100h at the Trinity Invitational with times of 1:06.12 and 16.72. She currently leads the SCAC in the 400h, and is fourth in the 100h.
