KELSEY OELZE OF TRINITY
UNIVERSITY, a senior from
Phoenix, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Field
Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, March
16th.
Oelze led the Tigers
at the Country Inn and Suites Islanders Open at Dugan
Stadium hosted by Texas A&M University-Corpus
Christi as they were the only Division III team in competition
this past weekend.
Oelze turned in a pair of strong
performances in the shot put and javelin at the Islander Open over
the weekend. She threw 10.37 meters in the shot and 34.97
meters in the javelin, good for a third place finish.
