ELIZABETH KRUG OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a sophomore from Heber Springs, Ark., has been selected the SCAC Women's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through Sunday April 1.

Krug tallied a 4,619 point performance in the heptathlon at the Washington (Mo.) Invitational, her second best effort for the event, behind her national meet performance of 4,658 last spring.

Krug had persoal records for the 100 hurdles (15.81) and 200-meters (25.70w), both of which were better than our old school records.

Krug ranks in the top ten of the conference in every event from the heptathlon. She’s second in the nation, just 16 points behind the national leader.
